The veil will be removed
2 Corinthians 3: 16-18
16 But when they turn to the Lord, the veil will be removed.
17 For the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
18 Therefore, we all, looking open face as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed from glory to glory in the same image, as by the Spirit of the Lord.
In this lesson we are going to see the second cause because Divorce has entered the church.
One of the great problems that is affecting the happiness of marriage is the lack of a true conversion to Christ. Many marriages are being victims of "religiosity" and not of a genuine conversion that bears fruit.
A. The veil will be removed.
The veil means the spiritual blindness that affects the man and the woman who remain the old man, him being carnal and natural. He is still tainted with the rudiments of the world; they go to church, give offerings, participate in some privilege, but the truth of Christ's change has not dawned on them.
Hardness of heart is a manifestation of a religious heart that goes to church but Christ has not gone to them. They are still the same natural man or woman, although they confess to being a Christian, they are not yet Christian because they do not imitate Christ.
He has a distorted relationship in his marriage, which slowly dies every day.
¨ He who says he abides in him must walk as he walked.¨ 1 John 2: 6
The veil is removed when the man and the woman decide to truly meet Jesus Christ, Christian marriages and families are being affected by the false conversion to Christ.
Negative effects of having the spiritual veil:
1. appearance
2. Falsehood
3. The old man
4. Abuse
5. Vices
6. Violence
7. Autocratic (Dictator)
8. Bitterness
9. Bad testimony
10. Conformist
11. Impatient
12. Incredulous. Etc….
All of the above shows us the personality of a man and a woman who say they are Christians, who go to church but their deeds say otherwise.
They profess to know God, but with deeds they deny him, being abominable and rebellious, reprobate for every good work. Titus 1:16
The children of these so-called Christians are seeing another gospel that is not the one they claim to profess and are damaging the identity that the true gospel produces in the life of a man and a woman, a gospel of changes.
The old life and the new. Colossians 3: 5-10
5 Put to death, then, the earthly in you: fornication, impurity, disordered passions, evil desires and avarice, which is idolatry;
6 things by which the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience,
7 in which you also walked in former times when you lived in them.
8 But now you also leave all these things: anger, anger, malice, blasphemy, dishonest words from your mouth.
9 Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his deeds,
10 and covered with the new one, which according to the image of the one who created it is being renewed until full knowledge.
When the veil has been removed, man is clothed with the new man in Christ, religiosity and religious falsehood have died and produces a new birth in him and her. It produces changes through your relationship with God, prayer, devotional reading of the word, intimacy with God, and meditation on the word.
Effects of a new birth. Colossians 3: 18-22
1. The man loves his wife
2. The woman loves and respects her husband
3. Children obey their parents
4. Parents are not harsh with children.
5. The father as an employee respects and obeys his boss
Bear the fruits of a child of God. Ephesians 5: 22-23
1. Impart Love
2. Convey joy
3. Inspire Peace
4. Have patience
5. It is benign
6. Become kind
7. And have faith.
You want a happy wife who loves you and children for Christ, father and mother, it is time to renounce the veil of falsehood of a blind gospel without truth or revelation, a gospel of the blind leading the blind into the abyss.
Christ came to produce fruits worthy of repentance in the human being who receives him as his Lord.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:35
Love is one of the greatest signs of consent of a Christian, and love leads to changes, having the veil does not produce changes only one has religion and knowledge but does not show the changes as a result of truly having Jesus Christ in the heart When the veil is removed within the body of Christ it will no longer be heard that there are or here the leaders or members of a Christian church have divorced.
It will be then that a testimony worthy of imitation will be given and the church will then be the Light and the Salt of this earth that lives in darkness and without flavor.
Matthew 5: 13-14
The salt of the earth
13 You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt fades, with what will it be salty? It is no longer used for anything but to be thrown out and trampled on by men.
The light of the world
14 You are the light of the world; a city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
